Bringing a new life into the world is a beautiful, transformative experience - but it can also be challenging, emotional, and overwhelming. That's where our doula support comes in. We are here to guide you through every step of your pregnancy and birth journey, providing emotional and physical support to help you feel calm, confident, and empowered.

In Person Birth Support Includes (but is not limited to):

• Educational Prenatal Meetings (Clients will have 4 virtual/in person prenatal education to learn about their options and build a personal birth and postpartum plan/preferences.)
• Meeting 1: Physiology and Basics of Birth
• Meeting 2: Comfort & Coping in Labor
• Meeting 3: Newborn Care & Postpartum Prep
• Meeting 4: Infant Feeding & Lactation
• Unlimited Client Check-Ins (You will be able to schedule unlimited 30-minute check-in calls throughout your pregnancy. These calls will allow us time to get to know each other more personally, answer questions, talk in depth about your specific concerns or interests, and craft your tailored birth and postpartum plan. You can also email and text me questions as needed!
• In-Person Labor Support (From 37 weeks of pregnancy, I am on call 24/7 to support you during your labor. After your labor begins, I join you at the time you feel you need me and stay through baby’s birth. I provide immediate postpartum support for up to 2 hours after birth.)
• Postpartum Visit (I include 1 in-home postpartum visit, usually about 2 hours long.It is to be conducted within 14 days of baby’s birth.)

 my birth package is valued at 2,500 I require a non-refundable 50% deposit at contract signing, with the remaining 50% due at or before 37 weeks. Please fell free to inquire with me about a sliding scale income-based rate if you are experiencing financial hardship. 

As parents ourselves, much of our knowledge comes from our own experiences. As a postpartum doula, I offer evidence-based information and assistance to compassionately help you meet your baby's needs, care for yourself, and ease your transition to parenthood. The goal of our team is to help each parent feel a sense of contentment, satisfaction and connection with their baby during the first few joyous, wondrous, hormonal, exhausting weeks after birth. 

There will initially be one prenatal planning session (Ideally, postpartum planning begins prenatally. If you book me for prenatal we will discuss this during our session. I will come to your home to get familiar with you and your family, do hands-on feeding and newborn care education, prepare postpartum healing items, develop your postpartum support plan, and prepare the home to welcome  your baby (or babies).

In-Home Postpartum Support Includes (but is not limited to)

• Lactation support; adjusting baby's latch, working on feeding positions, pumping, syringe and bottle feeding, or other supplementation as you need/wish
• Coaching through infant care such as diapering, swaddling, soothing, bathing, babywearing, etc
• Education about newborn norms such as sleep and behavior development
• Providing child care so you may rest
• Preparing nutritious meals, helping ensure all caregivers are nourished
• Light housework, local errands
• Coaching you and supporting physical healing after giving birth
• Emotional processing & providing an unbiased listening ear
• Planning and strategizing how to meet your needs as your experience changes
• Connecting you with community resources and care providers
• Normalizing the beautiful chaos that is life with a newborn! 

My postpartum support rate is $ 615 for a total of 15 hours. This postpartum package can be used from the time of birth up to 3months after. If you need any extra daytime support it can be added for an additional $20/hr. 50% of your package fee is due at contract signing as a non-refundable deposit. The remaining 50% of your package fee is due by our first scheduled shift. I request that postpartum shifts be booked no later than 24 hours in advance. I firmly believe that it does take a village to raise a child, as New Yorkers our time to spare is very limited. We all have demanding schedules and our families live all around the world. This can sometimes make it very difficult for new parents to receive the love and support they need and deserve during the postpartum period. I recognize that bringing a baby home is a huge adjustment for everyone involved; the baby, the parents, and the siblings (human and/or furry!). Whether you are embarking on this journey for the first time or as an experienced parent, it is crucial to have an extra set of hands to offer knowledgeable emotional and physical support. Forgot what sleep is like? Let me offer you protected sleep where you can rest easy knowing your baby is in good hands.

Overnight support is available 3-5 nights weekly as needed, with an emphasis on providing parent(s) with protected sleep. There is a hourly rate of $45 with a minimum of 10 hours. Please feel free to inquire with me about a sliding scale income-based rate if you are experiencing financial hardship.
